The Boys Varsity bowling team kicked off their season yesterday at Collier Lanes bowling in the OAA Singles Tournament. Junior, Gaige Gajewski was the top seed for the tournament with an impressive 728 series with games of 182-267-279. He moved on into bracket play to bowl Reeve from Royal Oak in a one game elimination format. Winning that match up 203-184 moved him into the semi-final match against Janness from Lake Orion, falling just short 197-180. Gaige did not go home empty handed receiving a medal for High Game with a 279 and High Series of 728. Senior Prasham Rathod also had a good showing with games of 212-190-185 for a 587 series placing him 15th out of the 90 bowlers who participated. The Hawks will be back at it on Sunday at Imperial Lanes in the LCN Singles Tournament. Then will have their first home match against Clarkston on Monday (12/8).
