Troy Athens High School is proud to announce the appointment of Brittney Brennan as the new Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach. Coach Brennan brings eight years of experience within the Troy Athens basketball program, demonstrating a strong commitment to the development of our student-athletes both on and off the court. Throughout her tenure, she has served as the Head Coach for both the JV A and JV B teams, and most recently as a Varsity Assistant Coach. In addition, Coach Brennan has played an integral role in organizing and leading our youth basketball camps, helping to build and sustain a strong foundation for the program. We are confident that Coach Brennan will provide a smooth and positive transition for the varsity team, continuing the strong tradition established under Coach Klumpp. Her familiarity with our athletes, program values, and school community positions her well to lead with consistency while also bringing in her own ideas for the program. As we move forward, we will continue to work collaboratively with Coach Brennan to finalize the remainder of the coaching staff. She will also begin organizing off-season opportunities and will be in communication with student-athletes in the near future regarding schedules, expectations, and program information. We look forward to the continued growth and success of Troy Athens Girls Basketball under Coach Brennan’s leadership. Go Red Hawks!
